Bruce R. Sasaki, CPA

Bruce R. Sasaki is the owner and principal of Sasaki Accountancy Corporation since 1988, when he moved back to his hometown of Lodi, CA to open his own practice to serve small and medium-size businesses in the local community. Bruce obtained his B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from San Jose State University and Master’s Degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University. Prior to returning to the Lodi area, Bruce spent 10 years at an accounting firm in San Jose serving as Director and focusing on high net worth individuals, start-up technology companies, and closely held businesses. 

Bruce concentrates his practice in all manners of accounting, taxation and business planning, focusing on closely held corporate, partnership and limited liability companies. Bruce works with business owners throughout the entity’s business life cycle; from formation through succession planning while serving as an essential business advisor and sounding board for his clients. Bruce serves the community in multiple capacities as a member and past president of the Lodi-Tokay Rotary Club, treasurer and past president of his local church, past president of Lodi Chamber of Commerce, as well as former member of the Lodi Memorial Hospital Board of Directors.

Kirk T. Sasaki, CPA, MST

Kirk T. Sasaki is a manager at Sasaki Accountancy Corporation since March 2021, when he returned to Sasaki Accountancy. Kirk obtained his B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from San Diego State University and his Master’s Degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University. Prior to Kirk’s return, he worked for a large regional accounting firm and gained valuable experience while working with large private and publicly held businesses with a focus on agribusiness and financial institutions.

Kirk concentrates his practice in all manners of accounting, business consulting and taxation for closely held local corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies. Leveraging extensive expertise in taxation and business planning, Kirk also provides ESOP annual valuation and consulting services within the firm’s business valuation practice.

Kirk currently serves the community as a Executive Board Member of the Lodi Fire Foundation and as a member of the Lodi Community Foundation Investment and Finance committee.

Rory L. Lydon, CPA, MBA

Rory L. Lydon joined Sasaki Accountancy Corporation as a Manager in September 2022. He obtained his B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from CSU Stanislaus and his Master’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from California Baptist University. Rory has been in the public accounting industry since 2014, providing a wide variety of services to privately held businesses, primarily in agriculture.

Rory concentrates his practice in all manners of accounting, including financial statements, taxation, and business consulting for closely held local corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies. Leveraging extensive expertise in taxation and business planning, Rory also provides ESOP annual valuation and consulting services within the firm’s business valuation practice.

Over the years, Rory has volunteered at numerous community events and looks forward to actively serving the local community.

John E. Johnson, CFA

John E. Johnson, CFA joined Sasaki Accountancy Corporation in January, 2026 as a consultant in the firm’s business valuation practice. John obtained his B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from The University of Southern California and has held his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter since 1992. John has been a business appraiser providing valuation services for closely-held business and partnership interests for a variety of purposes including ESOPs, estate and gift tax matters, litigation support, mergers and acquisitions since 1987. John has expertise in the valuation of various investment instruments including general and limited partnership interests, common and preferred stock, stock options, and various types of debt. John also has considerable experience in determining discounts and premiums regarding control, lack of control, blockage and lack of marketability.

Over the years, aside from playing golf, John spends time working as a golf tournament official and providing instruction to beginner players.
